Like last season the 48 teams will contest 3 ‘local’ Rounds from the area covering the West Waterford/East Cork League (WWEC), North Tipperary & District League (NTDL) and the Tipperary Southern & District League (TSDL). The TSDL has the most with 27 teams, NTDL has 16 teams and the WWEC making up the balance with 5 teams.

As usual, the last five standing after the ‘local’ rounds will advance to the ‘Open Draw’ stage. For some unknown reason all 48 entries got byes in the 1st Round, so it’s all 2nd Round ties that will be played on Sunday week 16th September.
