Win for St Michael’s FC

Our Youth team had a great 5.0 win against St. Nicholas. This should give them great confidence going in against Clonmel Town next weekend. Your support would be much appreciated for this league game, which goes ahead at Cooke Park on Saturday, September 14 at 2.30pm.

Last Sunday our first team had a tough 1.0 win against a resilient Glengoole Utd. at Cooke Park in the League. Darren Lynch scored the only goal of the game. Glengoole were solid at the back and their goalie pulled off some great saves. Good luck to Glengoole for rest of season. Our second team had no game last weekend.

On Sunday, September 15 at 3pm, our first team are away in the league to Old Bridge and our second team, same date same time, are away in the Shield Cup to Redmondstown. Your support would be most appreciated and thanks to everyone who attended games last weekend.

Please note all fixtures are subject to change/date. Please refer to our website stmichaelsfc.com for all fixtures and times near the weekend. St. Michaels FC will be rolling out our Premiership Competition on weekend of September 28. At €10 per entry it’s a fun way of predicting English premier games each weekend with the risk of elimination. Please support our club and buy a ticket. We are also presently selling FAI tickets with some great prizes up for grabs. One ticket costs €10 and tickets are available from any committee members. This is a great way of raising funds, which goes towards our club. Your support is at all times appreciated for any of the above fundraisers.
