Cahir Park U13 schoolboys capped off a very successful season with a 4-1 victory over a spirited Peake Villa in the Paul Cunningham Memorial Tipperary cup.

This was a fitting finale to their U13 campaign as Paul, a promising soccer player and cousin of current Manager Kenny died tragically at the tender age of 16.

On the day Peake started smartly and soon scored from a corner kick. Cahir gradually got back into the game and a cracking goal from Mateusz Plotenick just before half time had this game nicely poised at the break.

Cahir got a firm grip on the Cup when Kieran Lambert scored a splendid second goal ten minutes into the second half.

Further goals from Kenneth Cunningham and Dillon Fitzgerald secured an authoritative win for Cahir. Dominick, Sean, Stephen, Eoin and Connor were excellent in defence; Darragh, Dillon, Kieran and Matheusz were tireless in midfield while Kenneth and Nicholas were a constant threat up front.

Our three subs Patryck, Luke and Kevin all played a part and their contribution to this teams success is greatly appreciated.
