Munster Junior Cup 5th Round

College Corinthinans 2 1 Clonmel Town FC

We made our exit from this season’s Munster Junior Cup with a defeat in Cork on Sunday last. As the old saying goes - If you don’t take your chances in a game, you could end up regretting it. This was the story on Sunday last. We dominated the first half, missed numerous chances and only went in one goal ahead at half time, after Adrian Cleere headed home a corner in the 18th minute. Corinthians scored twice in the second half, and while Ted O’Connor went close on two occasions in the closing minutes it wasn’t to be our day. Well done College Corinthians and best of luck in the next round. Hard luck to Jamie, John and the players.
