Two goals from Stephen Roche and one each from Jamie Waters and Damien McCarthy got us our first three points. Much better performance after our opening defeat.

This is a big squad who will get results given the right attitude.

Astroturf and Grass Pitches

Resurfacing of the first Astroturf pitch was due to commence this week at a cost of €32,000 courtesy of an allocation under the 2013 Sports Capital Grants Scheme. The second Astroturf pitch will receive rejuvenation work.

In total €40,000 will be spent during the summer on the astro and grass pitch maintenance programme. We hope all appreciate same and will treat the facility with the respected such investment deserves.

South Tipperary Sports Partnership

Thank you to the above body for a grant of €420 towards the cost of coaching equipment and courses following a successful grant application.
