Carrick United returned to winning ways with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over local rivals Rathgormack in Division 2A.
Mark Kelly scored first with a great strike.
Carrick conceded 5 minutes later when a floated free kick deceived everyone and ended up in the net.
The response was quick but fortunate as Brian Faulkner scored while blocking an attempted clearance from the edge of the area.
The introduction of Noel Butler in the second half was the difference as he set up Conor O’Leary for his first goal for the club with a great volley from 10 yards. Noel sealed the victory late on rounding the keeper and rolling the ball home.
Good win for the boys and now five home games to finish out the season.
