Clonmel Town have set up a mouth-watering 3rd Round Munster Youth Cup tie with old foes Nenagh AFC after overcoming Cahir Park at Ardfinnan Road, Cahir last Saturday, winning 3-1

Gearoid Hearn gave Clonmel Town the lead against the run of play after 17 minutes, a lead which Town held until the 70th minute when Cahir were awarded a penalty which was converted by David Finnane. Five minutes later Kevin Fahey was upended in the box and it took a rebound from a Stephen Kelly saved penalty to retake the lead at 2-1.

The introduction of Jack Kennedy changed the pattern of the game and he sealed the win for Clonmel Town when he glanced a header off the keeper, which spun into the net. That 3rd Round tie away to NTDL Youth Champions Nenagh AFC is this coming Saturday.
