Clonmel Chamber hosted its monthly networking event at Powerstown Park racecourse last Thursday to coincide with its evening race meeting.
A mix of new and long standing members were treated to a very exciting seven race card and the opportunity to network in the sunny surroundings of the Clonmel racecourse. Powerstown Park were also hosting a ladies’ night on the same evening and Clonmel Chamber were one of the sponsors of prizes on the night.
“We always like to vary what we offer members and this proved to be a very popular event,” said Chamber CEO Brian Cleary.
“The Chamber hosts approximately 30 free events for members annually, all with the aim of helping local companies to develop business opportunities, and the event at the racecourse was part of that series of events. The feedback from those who attended was overwhelmingly positive and I think that we may have to make the evening at the races an annual event,” he said.
