Summer musical for Tipperary

Last August, Dreamtime Theatre under the direction of Paul Maher presented the summer show Graces of Lisheen at The Excel, Tipperary. The formula of having a romantic comedy drama interspersed with singing and dance proved very popular with audiences and so this summer Dreamtime Theatre will be presenting another show along similar lines. Last year’s show had a cast of just seven; this year however there will be a bigger cast and so there is an open call for actors, singers and dancers to audition at the end of April in Tipperary town. The show will be presented over four nights (once a week) in August 2013. Rehearsals start early June. This is a great opportunity to work on a big production of a brand new comedy musical with an experienced director, choreographer, musicians and cast. It would suit college-aged young people who have a good amount of free time from mid June to the end of July (and availability for performances in August, dates yet to be confirmed).
