Clonmel Chamber is introducing a fuel card scheme that will give its members the opportunity to avail of discounted motor fuel when they show their new Chamber Fuel Card.

“When you fill up with diesel or petrol you can avail of a discounted price per litre compared to the price shown on the pump depending on where you fill up at,” explained Clonmel Chamber CEO Brian Cleary.

Chamber Fuel Card users will receive regular updates to their phone, highlighting the discounted price that you can avail of. The prices are usually an average of 4c to 6c cheaper per litre than the pump price.

Additionally members do not have to pay immediately. Participants will receive a detailed invoice each week or month if they wish and payment will be taken by direct debit. These terms are subject to status.

“Participating companies will be able to avail of the discounted rate at over 1,350 multi-branded sites across Ireland including Topaz, Applegreen motorway sites, Texaco, Esso, Great Gas, Amber Oil and more,” said Mr Cleary.

Each user will be issued with a unique card and PIN number and limits can be set on individual cards to suit the needs of the company.
