Bellybang returns and supports local SVP

Bellybang music festival returns in August for the third year, with more than 30 bands from around the country travelling to the town to partake in what is fast becoming one of the best events on the gigging circuit.

Bellybang music festival returns in August for the third year, with more than 30 bands from around the country travelling to the town to partake in what is fast becoming one of the best events on the gigging circuit.

The two-day event takes place in The Piper Inn, where there will also be a collection of amazing original art on display.

Bands playing on the weekend include Crow Black Chicken who will have just returned from a two week tour of Texas with the legendary Ray Wylie Hubbard, Radioactive Grandma winners of the MRU best album 2012 award and favourites from last year such as Fox E and Zhora return along with many more new acts. This year Bellybang have chosen to donate the proceeds of the two day event to St Vincent de Paul Clonmel. Festival and Gig Guide Ireland said of the event:
