Arts events have been organised in venues around South Tipperary for the month of November as part of this year’s Connex 13 youth arts festival, organised by the South Tipperary County Council Arts Service.

The service works in collaboration with cultural providers, schools and the community to provide a wide range of arts activities aimed at young people between the ages of 13 to 20 years. If your interest is film or theatre then check out ‘Buzz’ on November 23 and 24 at The Hub, Clonmel. Buzz will be devised with a group of teenagers in Clonmel with director Shane Dempsey and will explore the highs and lows of life on the edge. This new piece of theatre will be made in just two days and will then be performed on front of a live audience. For anyone interested in languages Tipperary Exel and the Irish Film Institute presents a language film and theatre productions for schools. For budding writers, ‘Becoming a Writer’ with Grace Wells takes place on November 30 from 10 am - 4pm at Brewery Lane Theatre in Carrick-on-Suir.
