The one thing that connects the world’s greatest musicians, artists and performers is the undeniable talent that launches them on the world stage in the first place. But for a select number of those greats, there is one more link between them - their untimely death at the age of 27.

The one thing that connects the world’s greatest musicians, artists and performers is the undeniable talent that launches them on the world stage in the first place. But for a select number of those greats, there is one more link between them - their untimely death at the age of 27.

One of Ireland’s most celebrated and successful artists, Jack L, has given membership to all these late greats to what he has coined ‘The 27 Club’ - it is an ode to them, their music and their legacy.

With Irish multi-platinum Jack L at the helm, ‘The 27 Club’ features the work of iconic singers such as Janis Joplin, The Doors, Robert Johnson, The Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse, The Bunnymen, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana. And now Clonmel Junction Festival is delighted to announce that Jack L and his band will bring ‘The 27 Club’ to Old St Mary’s Church in Clonmel, on Thursday 21 March - this is one show not to be missed, but tickets are selling fast for this special performance so do not miss your chance to witness this critically acclaimed show.

The 27 Club has already played 27 sell-outs including The National Concert Hall and the Olympia with Jack interpreting the songs of these artists in his own spellbinding and legendry performance style.

Exploring this mysterious number, Jack interweaves their legacy not through a vale of tears but in a rip-roaring musical celebration of life itself. The show has received rave reviews from the international press following his week of shows at Edinburgh Arts Festival. Jack is concluding another whirlwind year, which has seen him perform knock-out concerts around Europe, Britain and USA. He has just returned from USA where he did a run of shows to ecstatic reviews. The highlight was a performance at the prestigious Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts, the home of the New York Philharmonic, where he sang as lead vocalist with the legendry Nelson Riddle Orchestra, to an ecstatic reception.

He returned to Edinburgh Festival, for the third year in a row, with a week of shows from 9 to 15 August. This was the first time a music artist had been invited to appear three times in succession at the world’s biggest arts festival.

Don’t miss this stunning new show from Ireland’s most iconic performer!
