The free Children’s Summer Book Bus (CSBB), organised by Tipperary Libraries continues in Mullinahone and Clogheen again this Summer for the fourth year.

Summer reading is a fantastic opportunity to help your children foster a love of reading for pleasure outside of the school environment. It is a habit and a gift that your child will enjoy for life and will thank you for.

They will also find returning to school easier as well. Once children have completed their summer reading form, they will be invited to a summer reading party in Clonmel and Cahir libraries, where they will receive their certificates.

The CSBB will be in Clogheen Community Centre car park each Tuesday morning for six weeks (started on July 16) from 10.30am – 12.30pm and Mullinahone car park (opposite church) each Tuesday afternoon for six weeks, (started on July 16) from 2.30 pm – 4.30pm.

The future existence of the CSBB in Clogheen and Mullinahone will depend on the success of each previous year. There are many other areas that have looked to have this service but Tipperary Libraries are committed to Clogheen and Mullinahone for as long as the demand is there and are urging parents to bring their kids along.
