Creatives unite for Mental Health Week

Artists’ collective Art Hive, in partnership with members of the South Tipperary Action Network (STAN), have curated a creative space which will be open to members of the public during Mental Health Week, from October 7-12.

Artists’ collective Art Hive, in partnership with members of the South Tipperary Action Network (STAN), have curated a creative space which will be open to members of the public during Mental Health Week, from October 7-12.

‘Nest Space’ will transform the former Nest clothes shop, on 27-28 Mitchell Street, as Art Hove showcase new artwork, alongside a selectoin of award-winning work called ‘On The Edge’, part of the Chair Project, from TASK (Training and Support Kilkenny).

Participatory artwork in the form of ‘The Wall of Hope Project’ will be also be shown with inspirational images, poems, photos, stories and words of wisdom.

Art Hive members are urging people to take time out to be creative in Nest Space where they will be offering free interactive art-making and workshops including felting, storytelling, batik, poetry and music.
