RTE’s popular weight-loss and lifestyle-changing show Operation Transformation, is returning to our screens again soon and the search is currently on for a new team of participants who want to shed the pounds and gain a better quality of life.
Operation Transformation presenter Kathryn Thomas has put out a nationwide call to find the five new leaders for the 2014 series. These leaders need to be willing to radically change their eating and exercise habits, and be prepared to inspire listeners and viewers to follow them on their journey. The five leaders last year have lost a total of 17 stone 11.5 lbs since they started Operation Transformation.
Speaking on The John Murray Show recently, Kathryn Thomas said: “It’s such an inspiring series and really proves what people can achieve when they put their minds to it. Last year the five leaders inspired so many people as they worked to improve their lives and showed just what can be achieved with focus and the support of the Operation Transformation experts and the whole nation.”
This November The John Murray Show will broadcast live from a Dublin location where a final selection of 20 applicants will gather to be assessed. The show will talk to the potential leaders about their personal stories; why they think they have what it takes to be a leader for Operation Transformation; and how their weight has affected their confidence, lifestyle and wardrobe. The following week the five leaders selected to participate in the television series will be unveiled live on the radio show.
As Operation Transformation gets underway, The John Murray Show will follow the leaders’ journeys all the way to the grand finale. Along the route the OT experts will be dropping in to studio to provide the best tips and advice on calorie counting, healthy recipes, exercise and lots of other transformation topics. So stay tuned in for exclusive reveals and chats, and to find out if the leaders really are sticking to their fitness regimes and diets.
