Aldi creates 15 jobs

Aldi Ireland opened its sixth Tipperary store last week, in Tipperary Town, creating 15 new jobs.

Aldi Ireland opened its sixth Tipperary store last week, in Tipperary Town, creating 15 new jobs.

The 990m² shop with 88 free car parking spaces is located at the Clockwater Site on Mitchell Street.

Suppliers from the local area include ABP Ireland, who supply all of Aldi’s Bord Bia approved 100% Irish fresh beef range and Stapletons Bakery, who supply many of Aldi’s baked goods. Oakpark Foods supply a number of products in Aldi’s Irish bacon and rashers range, Glenpatrick Springs Water supply Aldi with still and sparkling mineral water and the Gleeson Group supply Aldi with soft drinks and still and sparkling mineral water.

Aldi has tripled its annual spend on Irish products over the past five years.
