The National Learning Network in Clonmel will be holding a recycling drive to raise funds for a defibrillator as part of the ‘1 Day for Rehab’ initiative which takes place on June 14 from 9am until 2pm.
‘1 Day for Rehab’ is about making tomorrow better than today for people with disabilities in your community. It’s about raising money to fund local projects that will give people greater independence and ability to participate more fully in local community life. ‘1 Day for Rehab’ gives you the chance to do something that will have a real and lasting impact on the lives of others in your local area. Help us make tomorrow better than today.
National Learning Network is Ireland’s largest non-Government training organisation with centres in almost every county in Ireland. Each year, 5,000 people come to learn and study with us including many who may otherwise find it difficult to gain employment and to develop the skills to move forward with their careers. They are three courses available in the Clonmel centre which are Computer Applications & Office Skills, Employer Based Training and Rehabilitative Training.
Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, bed linen, towels and textiles including shoes, bags, belts and soft toys. Mobile phones will also be accepted but please keep these separate from clothes and textiles. Please donate before 2pm.
