Flying nun takes a leap
of faith

Seventy-five-year-old Sr Patricia Wall is taking a leap of faith when she skydives from 10,000 feet on Monday May 6 to raise funds for AWARE and Slieveardagh projects. A vibrant community activist Patricia is heavily involved in a number of groups and projects in the Slieveardagh area. The projects support employment, families and communities and provide programmes and activities which offer individuals a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand and safe place to deal with stresses and strains of life especially in the current economic environment. Working with AWARE provides support and understanding of mental health
and wellbeing.
