A meeting of the Tipperary Branch of the National Parents Council Primary (NPC) will take place in the Horse and Jockey Hotel at 8pm on May 2.
The centre piece for the evening is an anti-bullying talk for parents by guest speaker Áine Lynch, CEO of NPC. The talk includes a focus on peer pressure and self-esteem. Bullying is an issue of great concern to parents. The National Parents Council Primary contributed to the recent forum set up by the Department of Education and Skills on this issue. All parents of primary school children are invited. Admission is free. For further information contact the Tipperary Branch on 085-1058568.
