Like the recent weather we have been having, the Junction Festival’s music lineup is pretty hot this year and that means just one thing - party!
The Festival Club in Hearns Hotel is open every night with the house band, guest musicians and live DJs from Thursday to Sunday, while O’Keeffes will also host three great shows in Bar 4 - French Beatles tribute band, The Rabeats on Thursday and Irish rock legends Kerbdog on Saturday.
The Rabeats have become one of the biggest and best known Beatles shows in Europe since 2003 and have played to over 1,000,000 people. The band’s high energy fun show comprises up to 50 of the Beatles’ hits and has been described as ‘putting you in the Cavern club in the early 60s when you close your eyes and lose yourself to the music of the best rock band of all time’.
Riptide Movement postponed
Unfortunately Dublin rock quartet The Riptide Movement, scheduled to play this Friday night July 12, have had topostpone their gig. They will return to Clonmel on August 23 and all tickets purchased for already will be valid for the August instalment.
But on Saturday July 13, O’Keeffe’s play host to Irish alternative rock legends, Kerbdog, considered one of the best bands in Irish rock history. Their reputation has grown since they disbanded with their songs and album On the Turn always in the top 20 of Best of Irish albums. They play loud alternative rock and have the reputation of being one of the best live bands Ireland has ever produced so Clonmel is lucky to have the opportunity to welcome these talented guys to Clonmel to finish off the festival on a high.
