Students go wild for biodiversity project

The Presentation Primary School in Carrick-on-Suir is working towards earning its fifth Green Flag for Biodiversity and held a dress-up day as part of their action plan, with some very special guests from Dave’s Jungle, which brought a variety of reptiles, snakes and spiders.

It was wild! Students at the school have planted raised vegetable plots as part of the ‘incredible edibles’ programme, their native Irish hedgerow is flourishing and they are encouraging wildlife with their ‘wild biodiversity’ corner, all as part of theirbiodiversity project!
