Spelling Bee at Boys’ School

Congratulations to Liam Hickey of fifth class in Cahir Boys’ National School, who beat off very stiff competition on Tuesday, January 22 last, to win the Eason’s Spelling Bee In-School Competition.

Liam will now go on to represent the school in the county final next month. Best of luck Liam!

The Cahir Credit Union Primary School Quiz will take place on Friday, February 1, at Cahir House Hotel. The very best of luck to both of the teams that are representing CBNS.

Today, Wednesday, January 30, is “Cyril Savings Day” in CBNS. Saving stamps are €1 each and over the last few years this scheme has proven very successful in the school.

Mid-term break is on February 14 /15.
