Conor O’Mahony (Newport) and Shane Bourke (JK Brackens) return in place of Thomas Stapleton and Conor O’Brien.

The throw-in for this game will be the earlier time of 1.15 pm.

Both teams will be going all out for the victory with both already having suffered a defeat in the league.

Tipperary opened their campaign with a win over Waterford before losing to Kilkenny last time out. The All-Ireland champions Clare defeated Kilkenny in Ennis in the opening round before losing to Dublin last time out.

The senior hurling game will be followed by the Tipperary v Clare NFL Division 4 game at 3 pm.
