‘Big Bingo in The Dome’ to support Tipperary football

Now that the national football league is about to commence, Tipperary Football Board and Friends of Tipperary Football have joined forces again as part of a fundraising drive to meet costs associated with team preparations. With the championship fast approaching for all grades, the Football Board and Friends are finalising plans for initiatives that will help support the various teams in the 2014 league and championships.

On Sunday, February 23 a monster bingo will be held in the Dome at Semple Stadium with huge prizes up for grabs. This is the second event of its kind staged by the organising committee and is expected to again attract a capacity crowd to the popular and modern centre adjacent to the Stadium.

Bingo fans from all over the county and much further afield will descend on the Dome for the event which starts at 3pm.

The Football Board and Friends would appreciate every support for their big venture.

Camogie Update

Tipperary minor panel has been finalised by manager Lennie Phillips aqnd the girls have a final challenge match to prepare them for the first round of the All Ireland Championship match against Clare on Sunday, February 9. This will be a home game to be played in the County camogie Grounds the Ragg time T.B.C.

TIPPERARY U16 PANEL

The U16 teams have been having extensive trials under the watchfull eye of manager Brian Boyle. Both A and B panels are now in place and the girls are preparing for the Munster Championships. The camogie board would like to thank Loughmore-Castleiney, Balinahinch & Drom & Inch GAA for the use of their facilities during our trials.

U14 TRIALS.

These trials commenced last Saturday in Boherlahan and there was a great turnout despite the awful weather, well done to all parents, mentors and coaches. Details of training will be via text.
