Tipp senior football captain, Paddy Codd, has been passed fit to lead Tipperary against Cork on Saturday night.

It is an unchanged side for the one which defeated Limerick in the quarter-final on 31st May by 2-14 to 1-11 at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.

There were injury concerns all week about regarding team captain Paddy Codd and corner-back Ciarán McDonald, but both are deemed fit enough to start against the Rebels.

It is a daunting task for Peter Creedon’s side against an in-form Cork side who are fancied by many to be the main challengers to Dublin for ultimate All-Ireland honours later in the summer.

Tipperary haven’t beaten Cork in a Munster senior championship game in seventy years, their last win was in 1944 in a game played in Clonmel.
