On Sunday last, our senior hurlers had their first outing of the year when they took on 2012 Dublin county finalists Cuala in the Noel Kelly Senior Hurling Tournament organised by St Mollerans GAA Club. Swan came out on top in what was a very good game of hurling for this time of year.

Our Challenge Cup game vs Drom/Inch is on this coming Saturday in Davin Park at 4pm.

The draw for the first round of the South Senior Hurling Championship was made this week. Swan receive a bye in round 1 while Killenaule face Davins and Mullinahone play Ballingary. No fixture has been announced yet but is expected to be played in early April.

Also on Sunday last, our junior hurlers were due to begin their defence of the Junior County Hurling League away to Boherlahan/Dualla. Unfortunately we were unable to field a team and we apologise to Boherlahan/Dualla for this.
