Cashel U-18s were at home on Sunday against Thurles in their first league match.
Cashel almost immediately gained the upperhand with Keith O’Riordan scoring the first try and Ryan O’Donnell converting.
At half time Cashel were ahead by 28-0.
Very early in the second half Thurles were determined to put a score on the board and got a converted try.
Cashel quickly gained the upperhand again, however, and the final score was 36-13.
Well done to new centre, Joe Hennessy, who was playing against his former club.
Get well soon to Keith who had to be stretchered off the pitch with a knee injury, although he was discharged from hospital and is now recovering at home.
The U-18s will take on Nenagh next Sunday morning at 11am.
