Moira Aston and Kieron Stout from Athletics Ireland will run a Code of Ethics Basic Awareness Course for clubs in Tipperary. If any club is interested, please contact the County Development Officer, Marian Hughes without delay at hughes.marian@hotmail.com.

The Tipperary Development Cross Country Squad Sessions continue every Saturday morning from 10.30am to 11.30am in Thurles Crokes Complex for athletes aged U/10 upwards who intend competing in the Munster Championships.

WINTER COACHING SERIES

The first session of the Winter Coaching Series commenced on Saturday 21st September in Cork I.T., Bishopstown. Around 20 Tipperary athletes from Carrick-On-Suir A.C., Moycarkey Coolcroo A.C. and Clonmel A.C. made the very worthwhile trip to the session and were rewarded with expert tuition in their chosen events. Well done to all, keep up the good work.

The second session of the series takes place on this Saturday, October 5 at 9.30am in Cork I.T. Registrations are currently being taken online for athletes who didn’t attend the first session at this link :- https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WCS_Online_Registration.

munster schools events

The Munster Schools Combined Events Championships will now take place on Wednesday, October 16 at 11am in Nenagh Indoor Stadium. As well as the Junior, Intermediate and Senior competition categories there will also be a First Year event (Minor) for Boys and Girls with four events - 100m, Long Jump, Shot and 800m.

The All Ireland Schools Combined Events Championships will take place on November 16 at 10am in AIT Arena, Athlone.
