Hopes are high that horse racing will go ahead at Clonmel this Thursday, February 20.
The meeting scheduled for February 6 was postponed because of the poor weather and the re-scheduled meeting last Wednesday fell victim to the storm that swept the country.
However the Powerstown Park course has managed to salvage the Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle (Grade 3), which is now added to this Thursday’s programme. This gives the meeting an eight-race card, starting at 1.45pm. All tickets issued for February 6 will be valid for Thursday.
