At the midway point in the half a Fr Sheehy’s move the length on the pitch ended with Cian O’Brien being upended and Shane McGrath scored the penalty

Fr Sheehy’s led at half time by 1-5 to 0-6.

Ten minutes into the half Fr Sheehy’s were hit on the double by two goals from Tommy Sweeney in quick succession, the second a belter from outside the 20 metre line.

The game was effectively ended as a contest when Eoin Morrissey finished a good move to the net. Further points were added by John O’Callaghan, Tommy Sweeney, Conor Sweeney and Danny Barrett to leave a comfortable 7 point margin in the end.
