Preview: Clonmel Celtic v St Michael’s

Sunday morning sees the first of the big Premier run-in clashes at Sweetman Park on the Clonmel By-Pass, when last year’s champions and league leaders Clonmel Celtic host St Michael’s. While Celtic lead the table along with local rivals Clonmel Town, the Tipperary Town side are currently unbeaten in all competitions this season.

St Michael’s have already been in and out of Clonmel for victories this season, so it will be vital that Celtic don’t allow them to do so again, or they may be conceding the title in the process. No matter who does win the points, there is no doubt that it will be a game worth seeing, so if you are around Clonmel at 11 on Sunday morning.
