Bansha Celtic 0 - 1 Two Mile Borris

The goal that won this game came direct from a corner kick by Carl Collins in the 15th minute. Borris did reply with a couple of shots from distance but apart from that, a combination of good defending and a sprinkling of luck kept the Borris goal intact.

Cashel Town 0 – 0 St Michaels

The best of the game fell to St Michaes from the penalty spot. Alas for the visitors, Jamie Malone drove his shot against the foot of the post and the rebound was scrambled to safety.

Bansha Celtic 0 - 1 Two Mile Borris

The goal that won the game came directly from a corner kick by Carl Collins in the 15th minute. Bansha created a few good chances in the rest of the first half but it was in the second half that Bansha took control and somehow did not manage to convert at least one of the numerous chances they had. Borris had a couple of shots from distance but apart from that a combination of good defending and Luck kept the Borris goal intact. With that display the Bansha lads can at least be confident of having a good season ahead. Good start for Borris with 2 wins from 2 games.

Clonmel Celtic 1 – 2 Peake Villa

Clonmel Celtic paid the price for a sloppy first half display as visitors Peake Villa left Clonmel with 3 points following a 2-1 win. The home side were slow out of the blocks and Dave Loughnane put the visitors ahead after just four minutes. Villa had the better of the first half and a keeper error close to half time resulted in an own goal as Villa finished the first period 2-0 ahead. Celtic improved in the second half and Michael Nugent scored an excellent effort on 70 minutes.
