This was a brilliant performance by Angela and it is great to see her running so well again.

This performance encouraged our other two athletes with Aine Roche finishing very strongly in 8th place in 25:40 and Donna Nagle 17th in 29:43. Angela led the County Senior team to Gold medals with Aine also on the team while on the County Novice team both Aine and Donna played major roles in helping the County team win Silver.

In the Munster Senior and Novice 4 mile Road Championship Niall McCormack ran a brilliant race to win the title in 20 mins 1 sec with William Maunsell winning the Silver medal in 20 mins 18 secs, two brilliant performances.

Then we had David Ryan running a PB over this distance when finishing 12th in 20 mins 59 secs and with Jimmy Boland running a proverbial blinder on his debut in these Championship when finishing 23rd in 22 mins 10 secs these four athletes combined to win both the Minster Novice and Munster Senior inter Club titles in very convincing fashion.

We also had Niall, William and David scoring on both County teams that won Gold in both the Inter County Novice and Inter County Senior Championship, brilliant performances all round by Club athletes today at these Championships.
