The honour in this event went to club treasurer, David Lonergan whose second season dog “Tree Top Lar” got the flag ahead of a very gallant runner up “River Aoife” owned by Pat O’Dwyer.

The McCarthy Cup got underway with game coming into the coursing field thick and fast. After some excellent coursing, the stake was brought down to the semi-final stage which will be concluded at a later date.

As we head into the Christmas period the club would like to thank everyone who helped out in anyway during 2012. We would also like to wish all our many supporters a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas and looking forward to 2013. A club meeting will be held next Friday night, December 21 at 8.30pm in Ballingeary Hall. All members are requested to attend as we are starting preparation for our big weekend in January.
