The Davin senior hurlers will play Lorrah/Dorrha in the semi final of the Seamus Ó Riain cup on Saturday at 6pm in Templemore.

Our Junior A footballers beat St. Patrick’s last Friday in Fethard 3-10 to 1-5. Our u16 hurlers played Anner Gaels in Cloneen last Monday in their championship opener. The game was well contested by both sides and we held a 10 point lead going into the final 10 minutes. The Gaels rallied late but we held on to win by four points 4-12 to 3-11. Our u12s will start their hurling campaign this week with a visit to Ballingarry.

This week sees the start of the official Davin GAA Cúl camp. With over 80 kids signed up, top class coaching and an array of GAA stars from the county we could not have asked for more.

Our under 6s, 8s, 10s and 12s continue training in the astro turf every Tuesday.

The Davin club would like extend sympathies to the Duggan family, John Street,on the passing of Christine “Twin” Duggan; the Power family, Mill Street, on the passing of Paula; and the Ryan family, Pearse Square, on the passing of Ellen “Nellie” Ryan.
