Lattin-Gaels were much superior to RockwellRovers /Rosegreen in the Bewleys Ltd minor B hurling championship played at New Inn on Wednesday last. It was a very poor result for Rockwell Rosegreen who were outplayed and outfought on the night.

Again it was an example of a game in this grade with totally uneven teams and hidings like this serve little purpose to either the victors or those on the receiving end of a mauling.

From the start Lattin Gaels were in complete control and scored a easy goal to settle themselves into the game.

Rockwell Rovers / Rosegreen were struggling to win any ball from the puck outs and the Lattin half forward line was picking up most of the breaking ball and scoring a lot of points almost at ease.

The winners led by 1-10 to 0-4 at half-time and thoroughly deserved their comprehensive win.

The losers failed to register a score after half-time.
