Clonmel put in a very strong performance against Nenagh Ormonde RFC to take the honours in the Garryowen Cup semi-final on Sunday last in Clonmel.

Clonmel put in a very strong performance against Nenagh Ormonde RFC to take the honours in the Garryowen Cup semi-final on Sunday last in Clonmel.

With the wind at their backs from the outset, Clonmel opened the scoring after just ten minutes with a well worked try into the corner from Jaco Oosthuyson, which was duly converted by Morgan Lyons.

Good passages of play followed with tries from Cliff O’Halloran, David O’Gorman, Gareth Mulcahy, Neville Melbourne and Mark Jenkinson with Morgan Lyons and Brian Loneregan combining to add the various conversions to lead 45-0 at half time.

Further tries from Greg Carroll, Stephen Pyke and Ronan Crosse madeit 64-0 at full time.

Clonmel play Waterpark in the final on Sunday.
