Cathal Barrett makes his debut for Tipp hurlers

The Holycross-Ballycahill corner back is one of seven changes made by manager Eamon O’Shea to the team that captured the Waterford Crystal Cup last weekend.

The team is Darren Gleeson, Cathal Barrett, Conor O’Mahony, Michael Cahill; Shane McGrath, Padraic Maher, Conor O’Brien; Brendan Maher (captain), James Woodlock; Seamus Callanan, Noel McGrath, Kieran Bergin; Jason Forde, Paddy Murphy, John O’Dwyer.

Eamon O’Shea has also named his 26-man panel for the Allianz Hurling League. The panel will be subject to changes as required during the group stages of the competition.
