A special horse racing meeting in aid of the Clonmel Hospice Support Group will be held at Powerstown Park on Thursday, 10th May.

A special horse racing meeting in aid of the Clonmel Hospice Support Group will be held at Powerstown Park on Thursday, 10th May.

The first race will be at approximately 5.15pm and the meeting will feature the SEPAM Tipperary Perpetual Cup.

Special pre-paid admission tickets are now on sale for only €10, with 50% of the proceeds donated to the Hospice Support Group.

These tickets are available from the Clonmel Races Office, Davis Road (tel. 052-6188508); members of the Clonmel Racecourse Supporters Club and the Clonmel Hospice Support Group Committee.

Any individual or company purchasing 10 tickets or more will be listed as a sponsor on the racecard.

There will be music in the club bar after racing and a great day is guaranteed.

In a special competition The Nationalist is offering two VIP evenings, for four people each, at this race meeting. Each winner, and their guests, will receive free admission with a race card, a table reserved in the club stand and a buffet meal.

Entries may also be dropped in by hand to our Queen Street offices and the closing date is 10am next Tuesday, 1st May. You may enter as often as you like and the decision of the judges is final.
