Our senior team qualified for the Munster Quarter-Final with a great win over Laurel Hill, Limerick recently. They play Mercy MountHawk of Tralee in the last eight.

Information Night for 1st Years September 2013.

Thanks to our Second Year girls, Sixth Year leaders and teachers who helped with the organisation of our Information Evening for First Year September 2013. The evening was a huge success where prospective students got an opportunity to see our excellent facilities. Closing date for applications is Friday, November 30th at 4pm.

Business Department

Four of our girls who received an ‘A’ grade in Junior Certificate Honours Business Studies this year were recognised by the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) and the Business Studies Teachers Association of Ireland (BSTAI) for their achievement. The ceremony celebrates and recognises excellence in Junior Certificate Business Studies.

Congrats to Roisin Walsh, Laura Mulcahy, Lorna Ni Cheallaigh and Chloe Desmond who attended the ceremony with Mr. Frank Scully and Mrs. Anne Hall Casey (Business Teachers).

Saturday Morning Study

Saturday morning study continues for Third and Sixth Years from 10.00 to 13.00.

Blue Suede Shoes

Well done to the TY/Fifth Years students from the High School and the Presentation who presented Blue Suede Shoes in the White Memorial Theatre, Clonmel for four nights in October. It was a fantastic production with energetic and brilliant performances by the cast.

Well done to all those involved in the production.


Our 5th LCVP student organised a talent competition for 1st and 2nd Years. Congratulations to Eileen Logue Hallanan who won the event. The funds raised from the event are going to the local branch of Barnados.

First Years Halloween Party

Our Sixth Years Leaders with Ms McCarthy organised a Halloween Party for First Years before the midterm break.
