Newly promoted Old Bridge, who beat Peake Villa the previous weekend, took the lead in the 44th minute when Emmet Johnson made a surging run down the right flank by Emmet Johnson and crossed for Kyle Ryan to head home.

They doubled their advantage after 57 minutes when a wicked deflection from a shot from 30 yards by Noel O’Brien left the Cashel ‘keeper rooted to the spot.

They added the third 20 minutes from the end when a ball over the top from Barry O’Neill saw Richie Crowe beat the keeper in a heading duel before turning the ball into an unguarded goal.
