Fitting of new training gear, for all selectors (juvenile and adult) and all players from minor up to senior, will take place on Friday night next March 29 at 8.30pm. Deposit must be paid on the night.
In the County Intermediate Hurling League. Moyle Rovers defeated Cahir by 1-8 to 1-5. Our goal was scored by Thomas Hill. A highlight of the game was an excellent long range free from young Kevin O’Donnell who opened his shoulder and sent the sliothar sailing over the black spot from all of 80 yards.
Minor game postponed
The South Minor ‘A’ championship game v Commercials on Saturday last was called off due to bad weather conditions.
On the county scene...
Peter Acheson and Brian Mulvihill played their parts in Tipperary’s victory over Leitrim in Thurles on Sunday last with Peter adding his regular couple of points. A win over Offaly in Tullamore on Sunday week would almost certainly secure promotion.

The club sends condolences to Siobhan Purcell and the extended Hickey family, Westgate, Clonmel, on the death of her aunt Peggie Gaine (nee Hickey).
Sympathy also to the Tom Quinn and son Colm, Giantsgrave, on the death of a beautiful wife and mother, Marion.

The Blitz for under 12s planned for Monroe fell victim to the weather last weekend and had to be cancelled.
St. Mary’s host the under 12 Blitz this Saturday at 11.00 am.
Training for under 8s and 10s Friday evenings at 5.30pm.
We had a number of club representatives in action with Tipperary last weekend.
The Minor girls were beaten by Waterford on a score of 2-4 to 1-9. Hazel Shanahan, Gemma O’Dwyer and Sarah Everard played for Tipperary and Leanne Ryan, who is recovering from injury, is also on the panel.
Tipperary U-14s were also beaten by Waterford 2-4 to 1-4. Our club representatives were Claire Moore, Orla Burke and Emma Cronin. Kristy Crotty Ryan who is also on the Panel was unable to play on the day.
Tipperary U-16s play this Wednesday, 27th, against Cork and we wish them well. Our reps on this team are Aoife Power, Rachael Delahunty, Megan Shanahan, Andrea Hyland, Michelle McMeel and Shania Dowling.
Tipp Intermediate team recorded a fine win over Down in the National League winning 5-11 to 1-4. Representing Moyle Rovers Barbara Ryan, Katie Lynn and Niamh Lonergan.
Our U-14s are busy preparing to defend their Feile title which is due to played Easter Monday. The winners go forward to represent Tipperary at the Feile competition in Derry.
