Cahir Intermediate hurlers put up a good display despite loosing by a goal to Moyle Rovers in the County League on Sunday last.

Cahir fielded a very young side and had good displays from the Casey brothers Aidan and Conor, Ger Halley, Pat Cummins and Daniel Moloney.

The GAA sub-committees continue to meet weekly to draw up a five year plan for the next five years.

Congratulations to the Crimmins and Hanley sisters team who were the local winners in the County Board quiz. They now go on to represent Cahir in the next round which will be held in the Dome in Thurles on March 28.

Also congratulations to Robbie Costigan who is now fully recovered from injury and playing very well for the Tipperary footballers in their wins over Limerick and Leitrim. Let’s hope that Robbie and his first cousin Conor O’Mahony will achieve success with Tipperary Footballers and hurlers this year.

The Club would like to express sincere sympathy on the death of Paddy O’Brien, who was the father of our Juvenile Chairman Pat O’Brien and his sister Maura Grogan. Paddy instilled a great love of Gaelic games in his family, and his grandchildren continue the tradition and currently play for Cahir and Rockwell Rovers.

Training continues this week and all players will be notified by text.

Membership is now due and all players and supporters should ensure they have membership paid up by
March 31.
