Tipperary have made two changes for Sunday’s National Football League Division 3 game with Fermanagh in Enniskillen. Vice-captain Robbie Kiely returns to the side following his one-game suspension and replaces the injured Donagh Leahy at wing-back. Borrisokane Philip Austin will start at wing-forward in place of Brian Fox who has been ruled with a groin injury.
Besides Armagh, Fermanagh are the only unbeaten side in the division having recorded two wins to date over Louth and Sligo. Tipperary were very unlucky to lose by a single point in their opening game against Armagh but quickly followed this up with an impressive win over Limerick in Thurles.
Sunday’s game at Brewster Park is therefore hugely important for both sides as they strive for promotion. If Peter Creedon’s side can repeat the performance of the game in the Athletic Ground in Armagh they are well capable of coming away with the points on offer.
The team for Sunday is as follows:
Evan Comerford (Kilsheelan Kilcash), Alan Campbell (Moyle Rovers), Paddy Codd Capt. (Killenaule), Andrew Morrissey (Galtee Rovers), Seamus Kennedy (Commercials), Peter Acheson (Moyle Rovers), Robbie Kiely (Carbery Rangers), Colin O’Riordan (J K Brackens), Stephen O’Brien (Ballina), George Hannigan (Shannon Rovers), Barry Grogan (Aherlow), Philip Austin (Borrisokane), Conor Sweeney (Ballyporeen), Michael Quinlivan (Commercials), Ian Fahy (Commercials).
