Clonmel Celtic reached the semi-finals of the FAI Junior Cup when they had a great 3-2 victory over the holders Pike Rovers in the quarter-final in Limerick on Sunday.

Clonmel Celtic reached the semi-finals of the FAI Junior Cup when they had a great 3-2 victory over the holders Pike Rovers in the quarter-final in Limerick on Sunday.

Celtic, who had also beaten Pike Rovers in the Munster Junior Cup seven days previously, won with goals from Kevin Waters, a Simon Scully penalty and Evan Maguire.

The only Munster team remaining in the competition, they will be at home to Kilbarrack United from Dublin in the semi-final.
