The Cahir Tidy Towns Group will have a meeting this week with Frank Donaldson about the new three-year plan and the group would like to thank South Tipperary Development Company with their assistance in this respect.

There will be more details from this meeting next week, and the group also hope to announce a date for the awards night in the coming days.

Cahir Tidy Towns hope to plant the Mitchelstown Road this coming week. This will eat up a fair few quid of their budget for this year but it will be worthwhile as a lot of hard work has been put into it. Many thanks to the Gardai, Bill Coffey, the TUS lads and members of the group who have completed the work to date.

Tidy Towns will also paint the building in the Market Yard and get to work on the weeding and grass that has been growing around the kerbs.

They will continue to meet on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at the Market Yard to do litter picking.
