To our local Radio Station Tipperary Mid West Radio, which celebrated its 21st birthday on Friday, April 15. Good wishes to Paddy Buckley who was there at the very start, and Rest in Peace to Sean Kelly who started it all.
To John The Baptist Girls School, Cashel on wining the All Ireland Drama Show, it was a twenty-five minute show in Irish, it took place in Mullingar on Wednesday, April 13. They are a very talented group of kids and the theme of the show was “The Recession”, great credit is due to their principal Mrs Mary Andrews and the teachers involved in training the group. Credit too is due to the teachers and staff of Scoil Aonghusa whose children performed the musical “Grease” in Bru Boru last week, they were brilliant and a joy to watch and listen to.
Bingo will take place on Good Friday night at 8.30pm as usual when devotions are over in the churches.
