Mass: Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Chapel Marlfield at 9.30am on this Sunday, 11th September.
Dog owners should respect burial grounds: Walking dogs in the Marlfield area is a regular daily task for animal lovers but there is a downside to this activity. Dogs do what dogs do and recently it has become a habit to leave dogs run loose in the burial grounds attached to Marlfield Chapel. As burials are held there on an ongoing basis it is distressing to see the last resting place of a loved one soiled by dog dirt. Please keep your pets on a lead and be mindful of the sacred nature of burial grounds at all times.
Village Dance: The village fund raising dance takes place in the Clonmel Og Centre on Friday night, 16th September, starting at 9pm. A great night’s dancing and craic is planned with the garden competition results, spot prizes galore and music by the Carrick Bróg, a top band. See you at the village party.
Congratulations Sean: Congratulations to Sean English of Mountain View, who celebrated his 60th birthday in fine style at a party with family, friends and neighbours at The Park Hotel. Sean is looking forward to adding a few score more to the tally and seeing him on a recent village work project it looks very likely.
