Ardfinnan tidy towns are in full swing at the moment and are grateful for all the help and praise we are getting off everyone. We would like to ask for your help keeping an eye on litter around each area. The fine weather is a big bonus this time of year and it is great to see everyone out painting and doing their gardens, keep up the great work. Once again if we can help anyone in any area or if you have any ideas please let us know.

Alfie Browne has retired this year from Ardfinnan Cemetery Caretaker after 20 years of service. The commitment and dedication that Alfie had as caretaker was not only evident to our community but won him eight 1st prizes, six 2nd prizes and one 3rd prize in the South Tipperary County Council awards. On behalf of the community we would like to say a huge thank you for the work he has done and wish Alfie and Ann the very best for the future. Alfie should be very proud of this life achievement and is yet another unsung hero of the village.
